This is a beautiful place, so quiet, unspoiled etc.. We both love lighthouses, so seeing one out of our window all the time was awesome. And Captain Mike made us feel so at home. We explored and briefly swam in the lagoon, hiked and enjoyed the history tours and amenities. There were lots of boats to watch and the stars were magnificent. Grand Rapids SCUBA Club Grand Rapids, MI September 11-13, 2009 Our 2nd trip to the island. The weather was absolutely perfect. Hiked the island every day and enjoyed all the wild life. Found the Portsmouth shipwreck in the lagoon and a life saving boat on the west shore. The island is the ultimate place to unwind from the hustle and bustle of the city.
